Make it easier to check station deployment locations
Currently the only way to check the exact location of a new station is to log into your account, choose to register a new station, and then enter the address or GPS coordinate. Then the pop up window map shows you the location but does not show any other nearby hexes that have stations in them already, and doesn’t show if the hex you are currently checking already has a station in it.
It would be nice to be able to check a gps coordinate from the main map and get a map marker or hex outline of that location, without needing to go through the Register Station workflow. This way you can see all the other nearby stations on the main map, as well as easily being able to click on them to see their performance.
If it’s not possible to add the ability to check a specific location on the main map, then at a minimum I would request the Register Station workflow map to show all existing stations in nearby hexes, as well as to clearly show if the hex you are registering already has another station in it.

Hey there!
On the reservation pop up you can already see which hexes are occupied or reserved via the red hex indication, while the orange hex represents the location currently being selected.
It is also worth noting that you can search by address on the main map to check for open hexes, however the flow does not carry that selected hex directly into the registration process.
That said, thank you for the suggestion regarding being able to check a location directly from the main map via GPS coordinates, that would indeed be a nice feature and we have passed it along to the team!

Yea, searching by GPS coordinate is the main ask. City or regions are too inaccurate for station review, and when looking at international addresses the accuracy also isn’t great. Coordinates are the only way to be sure I’m looking at the correct location.
You are right, on the reservation popup it does show other occupied hexes (if you zoom in enough, which I wasn’t doing). However it’s not clear from the popup map that the hex you are currently searching is or isn’t occupied already; the orange color supersedes red. Would be good to show the current hex as red if it is already reserved.
Also you mentioned another good idea 😉 After searching for a location (using GPS coordinate) on the main coverage map, have the option to directly start the reservation process from the main map.
