Romanian (RO) translation — I can volunteer as translator

I'd like to help make the site accessible to more users by translating it into Romanian.

I'm a native Romanian speaker with a technical background (electrical engineering / distribution grids), so I'm comfortable with the domain vocabulary — antenna, gain, LNA, feeder, coverage, altitude, aircraft positions, staking terms, etc. Machine translation usually mangles exactly these terms, so a human pass matters here.

What I can do, free of charge:

  • Translate the UI strings, dashboard labels, onboarding and help/FAQ pages into Romanian

  • Keep a consistent glossary so terminology doesn't drift between pages

  • Re-check strings after future releases and send updates

What I'd need from your side:

  • Confirmation that i18n/multi-language support is planned or feasible

  • The string files (JSON/YAML/CSV/Crowdin/Weblate — whatever you use) or access to the translation platform

  • A short style note: formal or informal tone, which terms stay in English (e.g. "staking", "uptime")

Happy to start with a sample — give me 50–100 strings or one page and you can judge the quality before committing to anything.

If other languages are also on the roadmap, a community translation workflow might be worth setting up rather than one-off files.

Please authenticate to join the conversation.
