Dashboard access for Hosts
As a host/non-owner of a device, they do not have access to the “dashboard” and cannot see the new features of “aircraft tracked by station” vs “aircraft tracked by all stations.” If there was a way to “share” or give dashboard access to a host of a station, I think that would be helpful. I’m not sure if you plan to offer different features or benefits to those inside the dashboard vs public wingbits map, but if you did, it would definitely benefit hosts to have access to certain types of data…. mainly ones that could help them troubleshoot or improve their setups.
Maintenance Mode Button under Stations
Just wondering if a maintenance mode button makes sense under the stations tab. The advantage would be that it would not be sending erroneous data to the network. For example a station that you are in the process of relocating, or you are in the process of troubleshooting a device perhaps at a location other than where it’s actually set. HiveOS has a similar mode for mining rigs that you might be working on, repairing, or upgrading. I am not sure how this would actually be accomplished, perhaps shutting down vector, I don’t know. Just throwing it out there. Maybe it makes sense, maybe it doesn’t. Flaps up !
Data points for more than the last 7 days
Today we can see the data points for a specific station (for the last 7 days) in the overview. I’d like to have the “data points”-option expanded to the detailed station view as well, as it would be beneficiary to view longer intervals of time - as when when trying to determine if installing the Geosigner gave a ~10% hit on the rewards during the last 30 days, or even the two last weeks. Given the randomness of flights for us not close to major fight hubs, 7 days is not enough time to draw any trustworthy conclusions.
Online / Last message info on Mobile
As of now, it’s not possible to see when the Last message happened for a station using a mobile device. Has the info is only visible on hover, there’s no way to get the info on mobile. My suggestion would be to add the message under the ONLINE tag directly without having to hover the tag. Would be even practical on desktop too as you would be able to see all your stations’ statuses at a glance.
General use on mobile browser is hard and tricky
Some parts like coverage is really tricky to see, without swiping down tab impossible to see and most of the time it causes page refresh.. It defaults to wrong position
Another bar for total points per day on the graph
The new dashboard looks cool and all, except for the part that the total points per day was removed. I still want to track my total daily rewards without having to use calculator to total the points per station.
Add count of aircraft tracked
It's nice seeing the flights we're tracking in orange. Can you go one step further and add the total count?
